The Coffee Table is a straightforward build with a useful payoff. Half an oil drum becomes the body, four wooden legs lift it off the floor, and a hinged wooden top turns the whole thing into hidden storage. Everything inside the drum stays out of sight until you need it.

Tools needed: Angle grinder, drill, paint gear (brush, roller, or spray can), sandpaper, screwdriver.

Skills used: Cutting metal with an angle grinder, drilling, painting, mounting hinges and legs.

Build phases:
- Cut the oil drum in half lengthwise and deburr the edges
- Clean, prep, and paint the drum exterior
- Sand and finish the wooden top and legs
- Mount the legs to the drum
- Attach the hinges and fit the hinged top section
- Final adjustments and test the lid
